SCRUBBER PRODUCT DETAILS
What’s in it for the Customer?
A simple concept whereby the material scrubs itself through the tumbling motion created by the turning barrel
The higher speed of the Wileman barrel creates a more aggressive scrub compared to similar designs.
Slower speed barrels sometimes fail to remove adhering silts to the stone
The consumables within the barrel will wear far better compared to say a logwasher which require constant blade replacement. This means labour & material costs for replacing spare parts are considerably less than a logwasher on similar materials over a period of time
Wileman barrels offer flexibility in terms of sand removal and dewatering capabilities. Plant design savings can be made by the non requirement for a pre–barrel desanding screen or post barrel dewatering screen
The material will be clean
Larger sized material can be fed into the Wileman barrel compared to the restricted sizes offered by a logwasher
Larger throughputs can be achieved for less power compared to a logwasher
The robust nature of the Wileman barrel means it will ‘out last’ any of its competitors plus have the capability of being able to be refurbished for other projects after the deposit has been worked out. This is Wilemans way of creating a recycling opportunity and reducing the carbon footprint so helping the environment.
